Gold star for OpenOffice, Windows Vista caned

The Department of Education in the Australian state of New South Wales is putting OpenOffice on 40,000 school PCs and uninstalling Vista from every new machine it buys. It has also moved from a three-year Microsoft licence to a one-year licence.
