ACCC’s role in evaluating broadband network proposal

Australian Communications minister Stephen Conroy has sought to defend the evaluation process for responses to his RFP for a national broadband network, describing the ACCC’s role as critical. Critical as in: “having a decisive or crucial importance in the success or failure of something” it is not.
